Danny TzuTi Chang (Violin) was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and started playing violin since the age of 6. Danny is a Graduated from The Juilliard School and Yale School of Music. Danny is now a violin instructor at Tianjin Juilliard school of music Pre-College and violinist in Trout Quartet. Besides music, Danny is obsessed in making single origin pour coffee.

Name, Title

Yiqiu Chen (Cello) was born in Wuhan. She was admitted to Eastman school of music for her Bachelor in music performance and later, Yale School of Music for her Masters. Yiqiu was awarded the prestigious Peter Salaff award for her contributions to chamber music at Eastman. Yiqiu is the Cello of Trout Quartet and a Lecturer at Chinese University of Hong Kong

Peng Ao (Viola), was born in Beijing. 

He has a Bachelor's from Manhattan

school of music and a Master's

from Juilliard school of Music. 

He is currently a professor of Viola

at Sun-Yat Sen's University and

a Viola teacher at Tianjin Juilliard

School of music pre-college.

Leonard Lindweld (Piano) was born in Stockholm. He has played piano since the age of 6. Lindweld has two masters degree from Norwegian Academy and Grieg Academy. He is the pianist of Trout Quartet, an enthusiastic educator, and a book lover. Lindweld is a founding member of Trout Quartet and the foreign principal of Tarrant Academy. He is a Laureate from many international competitions, and teaches students who goes the same path.

 Born in Texas, USA, Colton (Composer) has an associate of arts and bachelor of music in composition from the university of Texas. He has composed commercial music for China’s Shuangxi company, as well as an award winning musical in coordination with Shenzhen university. He is the dedicated composer for the Trout Quartet, and composition/theory instructor at the Vanke Meisha Arts Academy.

Trout Quartet is a Chamber Group that has been active since 2020. The group brings life to the chamber music scene in Shenzhen, and tours the entire China with highlight concerts in Tianjin Grand Theatre and Beijing National Library. Trout Quartet has worked with members from the Hagen Quartet, prof Michael Uhde and Prof Roglit Ishay. The Quartet is the founders of Merchiston Music Festival and performs monthly Chamber concerts in the heart of Nanshan, an affluent part of Shenzhen.
